I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Friends of Fro: 

True, the Heighs event was postponed. I had what the folks at St. B's call a virtual shave. Trust me, it was very real. I'm bald now and still accepting donations, until, what did the governor say? That's right, June 2.


My Hair-raising headshaving is about raising awareness and asking for donations for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. In the past thirteen years, shaving the ’fro has raised over $82,000.


I am shaving my head to show camaraderie with the kids in treatment (who go bald), support for their parents, and raise funds for research.
