I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sid's Warriors

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sid's Warriors

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! When I was 3 1/2 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Thankfully, I had great surgeons and oncologists, and I'm proud to be 9 years cancer free today. However, my treatments did not come without challenges. I was left paralyzed on the left side of my body from the surgery, and I continue to have long-term effects from the radiation to my brain and chemotherapy. I have been shaving my head for St. Baldrick's for the past 5 years because I want to help doctors find better treatments that can help other kids. The past two years I have dedicated this event in honor of my friend Sidney, who lost her life because of the devastating treatments that were intended to save her. Some of my own doctors have even been recipients of St. Baldrick's funds for research, and I know they want to help kids live longer, healthier, and happier lives.

I appreciate all the support, and thank you for contributing to this cause.
