I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bay Village Bald Squad

I'm shaving my head for the second time to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. Every two minutes, another child is diagnosed with cancer. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded, and just as important and brutal as any other cancer. So, I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures and shaving my head again.

I lost not only a cousin—but a best friend to childhood brain cancer, and last year I made the decision to shave my head and donate my hair in honor of Gracie Rae Purdum. This is my second year shaving, and it means just as much to me. I may even have enough hair to donate again! Cancer is an ugly, awful disease that no one deserves to be diagnosed with. Unfortunately, people of all ages relapse and are diagnosed with cancer every day. We could help find a cure and help kids live their lives! Just imagine what would happen if 50 people donated $20. That would already be $1,000 towards finding a cure! Now, think about what you could do if you donated—and spread the word about funding and finding a cure for kids with cancer who need it the most!

Now I need your help! Think about the big difference you could make if you spread the word about St.Baldrick’s and shared my page to people you know! Will you make a donation and fund cancer research? You could help save a life! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Thank you for considering the kids in need of a cure.
