I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.

I started braving the shave in 2016, our events first annual event. I wanted to help kids with cancer after a girl at my school, Emily, got very sick. Our community held fundraisers for her and I just wanted to do more.  When I told my mom about St. Baldrick's after hearing about it at school,  she told me about a little boy from our area,  Wilson,  that she was following on Facebook.  She loved the idea of me wanting to help other children and agreed to let me join.  I never looked back and feel more proud every year for our community raising money for childhood cancer research.
