I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 7th Grade Team

I'm shaving my head after a 6 year hiatus in memory of Diandra "DD" Jensen. After a brave battle with lymphoma, DD succumbed to the disease and passed away at the age of 18. DD was not only my sister's best friend, but a girl I considered a member of my family, having known her since she was in kindergarten. She didn't have the chance to grow up and I want to make sure her memory lives on.

I'm participation in St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
