I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. As many of you know we lost our oldest son DaNNY on June 30th, 2010 to Refractive Acute Myeloid Leukemia FLT3-ITD mutation gene at the age of 6 years 10 months 2 days. Not only was he a son, but a big brother, grandson, nephew, cousin. His life and memory deserves more than the 4% that is currently given to pediatric cancer research. More has to be done for research so that there are no more families hearing those words "I am sorry your child has cancer", or "I am sorry there is nothing more we can do". These kids should not have to grow up in a hospital, they should be able to live a normal life being kids. Not knowing about chemotherapy, radiation. Please help because you never know when Childhood Cancer could affect your family.
