I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team WWP Coaches

Since my husband and a few of his friends first had their heads shaved for a St. Baldrick's 's fundraiser (13 years ago at The Ivy in Princeton), our family has participated as volunteers and/or shavees at the annual Amalfi's-Lawrenceville St. Baldrick's event in March. Each year, our planning committee is hopeful that there will not be anyone new to honor, but sadly every year there has been at least one child in our community who has been diagnosed with cancer: a student, a son/daughter of a friend, a child of a teacher, a nephew/grandchild/sibling of one of our neighbors....the list goes on. Our event has raised over $1 million dollars over 12 years for pediatric cancer research, and we couldn't be more proud!! This year, as I turned 50, I decided to add "shavee" to my role. In 2020, it will be 20 years since I lost my father to cancer, and although not childhood cancer, I feel I am honoring him, as well. Please support me as I shave my head to raise money for much needed pediatric cancer research!! THANK YOU!!
