I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to show my support for kids with cancer. St. Baldrick's is at the forefront of the supporting the research that is so important to the lives of children who have suffered or are suffering from cancer. My family and I are first-hand witnesses to this; our daughter Kathleen battled bi-lateral Wilms Tumor, a pediatric cancer of the kidneys, for more than two and a half years. Through multiple surgeries, rounds of radiation and countless chemotherapy treatments, Kathleen survived and came out a two-time survivor!!

Her success is no doubt due to the treatment protocols established by tireless research supported by organizations like St. Baldrick's. Thanks to thousands of men, women and children who "Rock the BALD" to raise funds for that research, kids like Kathleen continue to benefit from cutting edge treatments and therapies. But we cannot stop. Please donate now to help kids like Kiki beat cancer and live full and happy lives! Thanks!!
