I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi, my name Asia. I am 9 years old. I first learned about childhood cancer when a good friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer and has had to miss lots of school since then. We don't see him much anymore. Then I found out my mum has been one of the volunteers to shave for many years so last year we attended. It made me want to also shave my head to help raise money. So I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! They will then use my hair to also make a wig for someone who has lost there hair from treatment. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
