I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TeamMikeHessBrewing

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TeamMikeHessBrewing

When Keely was diagnosed with Cancer, I turned off the internet. Didn't research stats, didn't research osteo, survivability...none of it. I, frankly, didn't want to know. And I trusted our doctors. But in January, I started looking at the numbers and the organizations built around pediatric cancer. And, while there are many, many organizations that support the families and patients (financially, or with meals, rides, emotional support, etc), I came to the thought that "wouldn't it be great to put all those organizations out of business, because we've wiped out pediatric cancer?" And I saw that very little money was being spent on research. The statistics are disheartening. And I decided I'd work on making a change.

But, we can help. And that's why I, as well as my teammates on Team MikeHessBrewing, are shaving our heads on May 25th. We're going to raise money for research. Research that will hopefully lead to a new drug, a new therapy, a cure.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
