I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On February 11, 2019, the day after celebrating my nephew Quinn's 3rd birthday, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor (medulloblastoma) and an aggressive form of brain cancer.  On February 12, 2019, Quinn underwent brain surgery to remove the large mass from his brain, which was sitting on his brain stem.  Quinn is currently undergoing chemotherapy, which has been extremely hard on him and all of our family members.  I have been fortunate to spend a great deal of time with him in the hospital during treatment and have seen the number of children being treated at Boston Children's Hospital for brain cancer.  Quinn and our family have been fortunate to have received a ton of support from friends, family, and the community but not every child being treated is fortunate enough to receive this amount of support.  I am shaving my head as a sign of support for Quinn and all kids that are suffering from brain cancer.  Your donations will help other children suffering from this cancer who may not be as fortunate as we are.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
