I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Big. Bold. Bald!

As many of you know, my family has become personally victimized by cancer this past year.. i have witnessed it destroy a healthy body and becoming involved to help spread awareness and raise money for research is important to me for all types of cancers. Cancer is deveststing on a family, and as a mom of two I can not fathom what these families endure day in and day out watching their little ones take on such a fight. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by not only raising money for research, but also becoming involved in the event and shave heads for st. Baldricks. Now I know it’s hard to imagine cancer before experiencing a love one with it, but just donating even a small amount can make a huge impact on many families especially ones in our local area.
