When thunderbolts hit, I've learned it's important to listen to them. My thunderbolt hit a few weeks ago in part, because of a phone call from my friend Gail Vines (OKC's St. Baldrick's founder) and also because of a young fella named Harrison Murphy, who is putting up a fight against leukemia right now. Because there's nothing about Harrison or the people who love him, that doesn't inspire joy and gratitude, it occurred to me (via the thunderbolt) to SHAVE MY HEAD - in Harrison's honor - to raise $10,000 for St. Baldrick's this year. Whoa Nellie! With your loving financial support, Harrison's experience will become part of the fabric of love and hope that will benefit so many kids just like him thanks to St. Baldrick's long-standing financial support of childhood cancer research. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? I've made mine and sure would love to exceed my goal. With your help, I will. Thank you for your consideration.
