I'm doing Locks of Love at the St Baldricks event so I can donate 12 inches of my hair to kids who need it after cancer treatment. I decided to do this after I made a bet with my friend. She said she would do something she needs to be really brave for (I can't you what, it's a secret!) if did something too. So I said I would cut off my hair! I had to think hard about it because I like having long hair!
Also I'm doing it to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, who typically lose their hair during treatment. More importantly, I'm doing it to raise funds for childhood cancer research! Worldwide, more than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. The St. Baldrick's Foundation partners with organizations around the world to fund childhood cancer research. We must all do everything we can to give kids a better chance for a cure. To support me on behalf of these very special kids, please click "Make a Donation" above. Thank you for your support!
