I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Emerson 6

Hello friends and family... it's me, Miranda and I'm reaching out because I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! There are 2 kids in my school that are cancer warriors (see their stories at the bottom of this page), so I've decided I want to do something to help. I will not be shaving my head or cutting my hair this year, but I am volunteering to help get donations!

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers?  It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Most funds for cancer goes to adult research. So, I'm joining my middle school (along with the other middle school in my community) to raise money for cures. My town's middle schools are participating in a head shaving event sponsored by The St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Did you know that one in five kids that have cancer die from it?Horrible right?!? That is why I am asking for donations toward this cause. Please consider making a donation... thanks!!
