I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Placer County Sheriff's Office

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Placer County Sheriff's Office

It's that time of year again!  Baseball is starting up, and the St. Baldrick's Foundation is shaving heads!

You received this message because A) you are a treasured supporter from last year, or B) you fit the profile of someone who cares about kids unable to help themselves.

So here's the deal:  We're raising donations to support a team from the Placer County Sheriff's Office, that will be meeting on March 2 to shave our heads.  To the bone.  It may sound ridiculous, but since 2005, St. Baldrick's has used this method to raise and donate over $258,000,000 to cancer research, on top of the support they have provided to the patients' families.  Over a quarter billion.  These folks aren't kidding around.

So please consider digging around your pockets to see what you can pledge for my next haircut.  Bruce Bochy and Buster Posey would appreciate this as much as I do.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
