I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald and Beautiful

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald and Beautiful

Again, this year I plan to shave my head to support treatments for childhood cancer.

Oh, who am I kidding. Like NOONE! I have no hair to speak of! But I am still raising money for the cause with the Bald and Beautiful Team in Roseville and asking for your support.

I have a nephew who is alive and well today after a challenging life as a kid battling leukemia, and I lost my sister a couple years ago after more cancer battles than I can count starting in her late teens. The challenges faced by so many families dealing with a child with cancer can at times seem insurmountable, but they press on and deserve our support as they face the unknown future.

As many of you know I have had the honor of knowing the Raphael Family and supporting the Keaton Raphael Memorial in its mission of supporting research for a cure and providing support and comfort to the families going through this challenging disease including several years on the board and serving as Board Chair for the organization.

I had the opportunity to shave my head for Saint Baldrick’s for years until my hair didn’t grow back! But that’s no reason I can’t continue to support the cause. This year I am proud to join the bald and beautiful team as an honorary Barber. Please help us in our quest to raise funds to address childhood cancer through treatment and research for a cure.
