I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! My coaches, my teammates, and I are shaving our heads on Thursday, February 21st at the hockey rink. One of my good friends and hockey teammate, Cooper, is directly affected by a childhood cancer. His sister, Anna, who is 16 years old, was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. She has been fighting it ever since. Our team wants to show them our support while raising money to help support research for childhood cancers. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference to the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
