My name is Charlotte Stuertz. I'm a sixth grader at ENMS, and have not yet been able to walk through the halls with my classmates. I was diagnosed with Very High-Risk B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (V HR B-ALL) on March 12th, 2018. Because of the support from my pediatric hematology-oncology team at Cohen Children's Medical Center and the support of my family and community, I have been in remission since July 2018 and now in the maintenance phase of my treatment. I'm also looking forward to returning to school for the first time in 11 months just before this year's shave event.
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
My treatment journey is not yet over. I would like to see new research advances and treatments come to market that will have an impact on all childhood cancers, not just ALL.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Join me, my Dad, and my brother's Nate & Augie, and help us reach our fundraising goals. Thank you.
