I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NHS MS Team 2019

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NHS MS Team 2019

I'm so excited to head up the NHS Middle School Shave Team for 2019!

My son has been a shavee for three years, with two of those years in MS. For three years, he also participated in the 3 on 3 basketball tournament that the MS runs during the event.

My family and I have donated to the event for several years by sponsoring shavees or donating a basket of Girl Scout cookies for the raffle. This event has grown over the years and it's quite exciting to see how much our community supports this cause.

And a special shout out to the Middle School Teachers who each year form a shavee team, Be The Good, to support St. Baldrick's. And even though Angela Nino is no longer at our district, she will be shaving her head from Florida!

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
