I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Entreprenuers

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Entreprenuers

As many of you know, I’ve participated in a local, annual fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for a number of years. St. Baldrick's events raise money to aid in the fight to find a cure for children’s cancers. Our team raised over $100,000 at last year’s event and this year’s event will take us over $1 million cumulatively. It all started when a friend saw a flyer on a bathroom wall in a bar on a Friday night and decided he could make a difference.

I participate not because I need a haircut (obviously I don’t) and not because, on a serious note, I’ve had a child who has been impacted by cancer. I participate because I have been blessed with two healthy, happy boys and I can’t imagine what it would be like to have a child battling cancer with no solution in sight. You too can make a difference.
