To quote The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, “Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.” The reason St.Baldricks exists is because of those who have smaller infinities. Innocent children die every day because of the total lack of support from those privileged enough to not even know how to spell cancer (total hyperbole). More than 8.9 million people have died from various cancers. But, when someone you love dies, you know they are not a mere number. They are; were somebody special to you. Every single person out of that 8.9 million had a life; had a future; had a family. Each and every one of them was fighting against cancer. But really, the cancer was part of them, and eventually all of them, and in the end, all cancer wanted was to live. Some infinities are larger than other infinities, but all infinities; no matter how long, deserve to be honored. To be remembered. These stories deserve to be told time and time again. We may not be doctors or researchers; we may not be advocates or family of those who passed from cancer. We are people who realize this issue, and people who simply want to make a change. We're starting with this. Please donate if you can, and if you can't, pray for this cause. Thank you, and remember, You could do something, but will you?
