I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Will4aCure

Fifteen years ago this July, a rare cancer called pleuropulmonary blastoma targeted my son for the very first time. He was only 10 months old. Because doctors did not know enough about this type of cancer, his was misdiagnosed. Two weeks after my little boy turned 4 years old, his cancer came back -- only this time it was much more aggressive, and doctors told us he might not live to see his 5th birthday. We were blessed because with surgery and chemotherapy treatments he beat the odds and continues to survive his cancer. Even though I am shaving my head to honor my son's battle with cancer, I also do so in honor and memory of every child touched by this monster.
