I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Childhood cancer is the #1 leading cause of death by disease in children under 15 years in the U.S. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. I have a supersoft spot for kids, so I decided to get involved. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! If you feel called to donate, I'd be honored to "ROC the Bald" in gratitude for your generosity and compassion for the thousands of infants, children and teens coping with cancer. "The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience." (Eleanor Roosevelt)  All kids deserve that chance. And we can do something to help. When I reach my goal of raising $777 I will brave the shave on April 15, 2018!  If you donate in honor of someone, please let me know and I will add him/her to my "Honored Kids" section as well as send a shout out at our event. Thank you!!!
