I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Striving for More

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Striving for More

I have been blessed with three children who are healthy and happy. Unfortunately, this isn't the case for all kids. Some kids have to stay in the hospital instead of going to school. They have to take chemo and have radiation treatments instead of playing outside. Life's no picnic for them. To show solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, I'm going to shave my head. In the process, and with your help, I'm hoping to raise critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.

Even though my kids don't have cancer, my oldest son has a condition called alopicia totalis that has left him with no hair on his head. He is my other reason for participating in this event. I want to experience what he does and to support him better.
