I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sam I Am

So many touched by cancer have altered my life, it seems very fitting that I should alter my life, even so minimally, to honor them. I will always carry the gift of their voices which ring truer, their words which sink deeper, their faces which shine brighter. I am eager to rise to the challenge of giving a child just a little bit longer on this earth to bestow such blessings. So if tomorrow I am different, stop me in the clinic, hold the door for me at the store, pause for a moment to wish me well; accepting all these in good faith, I will remind you that it is not about me. It is about those who were with us until just yesterday, it is about those who wait for good news today, and it is about those to whom we can offer hope for tomorrow.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
