I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LSU Health Shreveport Class of 2025

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LSU Health Shreveport Class of 2025

I'm racing to cure cancer this year in memory of my friend Pierce Broe whose passion for life and curiosity inspired me to attend medical school.

Last year, I cut 16 inches of hair and raised $1,000 to donate to help children fight cancer.

This year I am racing in 5ks, 10ks, a half marathon, and my first ever full Marathon in honor of Pierce Broe to #RacetoCureCancer to raise money for the St.Baldrick's foundation. My goal is to raise a total of $2600 leading up to my first ever 26.2 miles at the Austin Marathon February, 19th, 2023.

As a second-year medical student and President of the LSU Health Shreveport Geaux Bald club, I am asking for your help to raise money for St. Baldrick’s, because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives!

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help?

Thank you so much!
