I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Round three - FIGHT! :) I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research for a THIRD time! And with good reason – kids facing cancer face a different disease and a different fight than adults - and childhood cancer research is EXTREMELY underfunded. How underfunded? Only about 4% of federal funding is dedicated to childhood cancer research. That's simply not enough to fund meaningful research to help treat and cure kids fighting cancer. Kids who succumb to this disease lose on average *71* years of their lives. That's over SEVENTY years of milestones and firsts – high school, college, marriage, careers, having kids of their own - lost to childhood cancer. Will you make a donation to help bridge this gap? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This year I'm dedicating my soon-to-be-bald head to an angel up above, Jennifer Rudd - I love you Jen.
