I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Occupy Bald Street

I am proud to be helping raise funds to help eliminate childhood cancers.  My first cousin, Matthew, and I were raised very closely together, as we were both the only children of single sibling parents (my dad and aunt) for many years.  We spent holidays together, my aunt kept us during summers, my dad took the two of us to Disney and on camping trips.  The picture I chose makes me laugh, because I'm so angry on Christmas because we only ended up with one cowboy hat for both of our matching outfits and he's wearing it!  He got sick with leukemia, and after a long and exhausting battle, he passed away a few months shy of his 12th birthday.  I have seen how traumatic this is for a family, and I still feel his effect on me every day.  I miss him.  I still miss him every day, and I want to do whatever I can to stop these diseases.  Please join me by donating today.  With all my heart, thank you.
