I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Dragon Warriors

I am 10 years old and this is my 3rd year shaving my head for childhood cancer awareness and fundraising with the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

I too have childhood cancer and have been living with my chronic cancer since a pea size lump was found in my mouth in 2007. I have what is called a sarcoma, which is a cancer of the connective tissues. It's called Plexiform Fibrohistiocytic Tumors.

4 of the honored names on my website are beautiful children who became angels because of childhood cancer. I knew each of them. Another angel was part of our Boulder community. Every day our family honors those children who we've lost too soon to the ills of cancer. One of the names, Justin, is my friend from cancer and summer camp. Just recently Justin passed away from his cancer. Last year he was an ambassador for St. Baldrick's because the life saving research was making an impact in his life--he was a ninja warrior because those treatments allowed him to fight for his life.

St. Baldrick's gives kids a fighting chance by discovering new research for all kids who need a cure. Justin and all our friends will never be forgotten. Cancer is the #1 killer of children in our country and with our efforts, we can make a difference in the future to those statistics. of cancer.

On March 14th, my bald head and heart will shine and send a message to the world.

Today I am playing a clarinet which is just AMAZING considering my lower left jaw, tissue and a slew of teeth were removed. The professionals part of my journey are such talented professionals. Music teachers, oncologists, dentists, plastic surgeons, nurses, surgeons, teachers. Check out the video attached!

Thank you for listening and supporting my fundraising efforts for kids around the world just like me.
