I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi! It seems that lately, I’ve been acutely aware of just how rewarding it is to contribute to a worthy cause. Further, economic times being what they are, charitable organizations are finding it more and more difficult to raise critically needed funds. So, I’ve decided to--gulp--have my head shaved in support of a GREAT national organization called St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The money they raise is granted to some of the most brilliant childhood cancer research experts in the world to find cures and improve the quality of life for patients and survivors. The Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. So, I’m going to do my share and this Sunday, March 28th, I’m taking it all off! The event will take place in the early afternoon at the Lakewatch Inn on Route 34B near Lansing, New York, from noon-5. For you locals, one of my favorite local bands, The Yardvarks, will be providing live music from 2:00pm-3:30pm. Come on down and join the fun! Any donation you can make is so greatly appreciated… Thanks….Ken
