This year I am doing things a little different. I am having a healthy competition to try and increase the amount I raise for childhood cancer! So I have created two pages one is Beth "soon to be bald" Winegar and one is Beth "keeps all" Winegar. Which ever site raises more money by May 5 is what I will do. If the soon to be bald site wins I will shave, but if the keeps all site wins I will not shave and volunteer the day of the event.
I've answered the call to be a hero! I might have my head shaved or not, but most importantly, to raise money to find cures. I can never be the hero that these kids (and adults) that fight cancer are to me and many others. I have seen too many kids get their angel wings (Lillian H., Liam M., Carter, Chelsea, and more) because we have yet to find a cure. I am doing this in memory of those that have already gotten their angel wings, but also for those still fighting this awful disease (both adults and kids). Please help me in raising money to find a cure. Here is a link to my great niece Lillian H's story http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shcxl79EB_g Check out the journey of one of my heros who I am shaving for!
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
