In Loving Honour of: Gram

This will be my third time shaving my head in solidarity for those who don't have a choice- especially children.
I am shaving for the kids who think having no hair is scary, or bad.
I am shaving for my grandmother, Louise, Who I lost last year and who bravely fought and defeated cancer. She lost her hair during chemo, and I remember being a kid and thinking how cool and brave she was. She always will be a hero of mine. I am shaving for my Grandfather, Daniel, who had a form of cancer and also overcame it. I am shaving for my great grandmother, Elise, who fought bravely against breast cancer.
Cancer can be a scary word, but being bald doesn't have to be scary. It can be cool, or silly, or different, but for a child facing cancer, being bald should never be bad or wrong. This is why I shave. I grow out my hair for a few years so that I can shave in solidarity, and also donate hair to those who have lost it, but need the comfort and normality of hair. So I am raising awareness, raising money for a great cause, and donating hair to very brave people.
You can donate a little, or a lot. If you can't donate money toward the cause, Please spread the word. Share my link with someone! post it on social media (I don't use it these days :( ). If you want to, come join me on shave day! I'd love to see you there! And if you can't attend due to work or life but want to shave or raise awareness, You can create your own event. It's easy! All it takes is a few clicks. Please help me raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. Will you join me? :)
