I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Keegan 2013

In January of 2005, Keegan, our beautiful, four-month-old baby boy, was diagnosed with a rare and devastating brain tumor, an Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumor (AT/RT). His prognosis was shocking and frightening: we were told that the survival rate was 5%. Our tiny Keegan endured multiple surgeries and the most potent chemotherapy available; however, they were no match for the extremely aggressive AT/RT. Keegan lost his fight a few months later on May 18, and the life we cherished so much as his parents came to an abrupt and heart-breaking end. We continue to support St. Baldrick's as a way to keep the spirit and name of our brave Keegan alive, with the hope that one day, no parent will ever have to experience the devastation of losing a child to cancer. Keegan is no longer here to fight, but we continue the battle, in his honor, for all the children of today and tomorrow who face this horrible disease.
