I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave

Why 46 Mommas? Because on average 46 children are diagnosed with cancer each day. That is about 2 classrooms full of children that will receive devastating news. It is time to bring more awareness to childhood cancer, find gentler treatments, find more effective treatments and find the cause od childhood cancer so that we can find ways to prevent it. I am so excited and nervous to be shaving my head. It will make such a statement to be a woman and be bald. I will hold my head up proudly and remember each day that I did something that will make a difference for children everywhere. In honor of my son, Isaac. Isaac has been battling a brain tumor for four years and is currently in treatment for his second relapse. You can read more about Isaac at his website: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/isaachatfield I honor of every child fighting cancer and in loving memory to those who have lost their battle. You will forever be in my heart.
