I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Sadie Girl

Hello family, friends and colleagues- On Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Helen Fitzgerald’s restaurant I, along with many others, will have my head shaved to help raise money for children's cancer research. As a pediatrician and mother I dedicate my life to keeping children safe, healthy and happy. The St. Baldrick charity is a cause that is dear to me. As many of you are aware there is a critical shortage of chemotherapy drugs used to help cure these children. St. Baldrick not only helps to fund research but is a voice to help publicize the needs of these children. This year I am participating in honor of Sadie. Sadie is a 4 year old who is battling leukemia. She has the sweet innocence of youth with the unfortunate battle for her health. Sadie, like many other children diagnosed with cancer need our help. Please help support such an important cause. Together we can provide hope for children like Sadie. Thank you, Doctor Julie
