I am so excited to be participating in St. Baldrick's at the University of Virginia this March. I will be raising money through March 22 to be used for cancer research. I'm shaving my head in solidarity for those who have no choice in whether or not they lose their hair. I will be donating my hair to make wigs for those who want them. I hope that everyone can donate a little bit to someone participating this year, even if that person isn't me (although I'd obviously really like it if it was me), because this money goes to such a good cause.
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
