I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I've wanted to participate in a St. Baldrick's event for quite some time now; with all of the new changes I've been making in my life, I figured there was no better time to make another change for a great cause.

Cancer is a horrifying thing for anyone to face; members of my family and friends of mine have fought their battles as adults, so I can't even imagine how much harder it would be if they had to fight as children. Being a teacher, I've grown pretty close to all of my students; make no mistake--I would be there to support them in any way if they were ever diagnosed with a disease like this.

I'm going to do what I can to give my support to these children who have been forced to fight harder than ever before; I know they would love your support as well. Any amount you can give will help beat childhood cancer once and for all.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
