I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NetApp Global Team

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NetApp Global Team

In 2006, at a CIO dinner attended by Bill Hogan and Tom Mendoza, I asked John Lacava, CIO of QBE, why his hair was shaven. I soon learned about St. Baldrick's and the foundations charter....to find a cure for Childhood cancer. John looked at me and said, "you're head would raise a lot of money". At that moment, Bill and I were committed. This is our 6th year of participating with St. Baldrick's and NetApp and I want to personally thank everyone who has given their time, a dollar or a kind word of support for our cause. Having lost my mom at age 29 to breast cancer, this disease has hit home in my family. I also have members of my family who have been afflicted with some form of childhood cancer. Thankfully, they are either cancer free or progressing positively. If you in New York City on Wednesday, March 14th, please join us at 4pm at Crimson (915 Broadway) and you will get a chance to meet Justin Tuck, Defensive End of the Super Bowl Champion, New York Giants and watch me shave my "Eddie Munster" hair. Thank you to all that support this year's fundraising and awareness efforts. All my best, Joey
