I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: William and Mary Alumni, Triangle Chapter

The Triangle NC Area Chapter of the William and Mary Alumni is participating in this year's St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser by putting our "heads on the line" and surrendering our vanity (and locks/lockettes) for the cause. This year I am doing this in honor of Colleen Moore, a young lady who loved to swim before having to face a very aggressive cancer in her leg. The story of her fight with cancer can be found at: http://www.stbaldricks.org/kids/mypage/kidid/1139 I also want to honor my college roommate, Mark Thorpe, who is a miraculous survivor of cancer and my father, Paul Carlin, who was able to get effective treatment early for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma cancer. Please join us in helping add funding to seek a cure for childhood cancer! Thank you, Joe Carlin Chapter President

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
