I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

UPDATE- Sunday evening - post-haircut time. It's all done! I'm bald - and cold. Not only that but I miss my mustache. I'll have new photos up here Monday hopefully - if I can get them from my friend John's camera! I look really ugly - I guess some people just shouldn't be bald! UPDATE - Sunday morning March 21 - D-Day!!! For all of you who have donated - my thanks to you all for participating in this worthy cause! You have been most generous. Together we have raised over $1470 (some checks are outstanding and not showing online yet) for St. Baldricks. Now I just have to do my part this afternoon and get my head nekkid! Thank you all for helping. And - yes - there will be "after" photos up here this evening (or maybe Monday morning) for you all to see what you really wanted to see! ************************************************************* Yes - I have volunteered to help out this organization by offering up my head to be shorn! Most important to those of (cont'd) you who know me personally will be the removal of not only my head of mostly white hair, but that of my TRADEMARK handlebar MUSTACHE, along with my recently adopted GOATEE. Picture THAT the next time you see me walk into Smitty's or the firehouse or anywhere in the Village! From hair all over (you may even remember my ponytail days!) - to nothing but nose hairs! I appreciate all of you who visit this site to read about my efforts and hopefully to read about this great fundraising project with its oh-so-necessary goal to raise funds for cancer treatment for children. Please help them out by adding your donation to my individual goal and to their overall target.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
