I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Donna's Good Things

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Donna's Good Things

So this is my fifth time shaving my head for St. Baldrick's. Seeing my scalp is no longer a novelty.

So why do it?

Because it's something I can do to take a stand against childhood cancer. Because when I have no hair, like so many kids that have no hair, you see and remember.

It's five years since Donna died, and I've shaved my head five times. It's my chance to take a stand and say that I'm not giving in.

Here are three things I can do: I can raise money. Money is needed for research. I can reach out to families of those kids who do have cancer, and let them know they're not alone. And I can try to make people think about what it's like to have a kid with cancer, so they'll raise money and reach out to families.

You can do those three things too.
