I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alston & Bird - Atlanta

Hate kids? Love cancer? Don't donate to this cause. This year I'm shaving my head in honor of my little cousin Joshua who, in November 2009, was diagnosed with a neuroblastoma, one of the more common forms of childhood cancer found in infancy with about 650 new cases each year. Hoping to shrink a tumor in his lungs, Joshua has recently undergone four rounds of chemotherapy. All this before his first birthday, which his family celebrated on January 30. In a couple weeks, Joshua will go through some additional scans to see whether the remaining mass can be removed through surgery, or if additional chemo is necessary. Or, as we're all praying, that he is cancer free!
