I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dear Family and Friends:

Thank you so much for sponsoring me in my efforts to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. I am shaving my head in honor of Mira Brouwer, our friends' daughter who died just a few years ago at the age of 4. I'm also shaving for Rose M. Hill, who was not that much older than a child, being diagnosed with breast cancer at 21 (our senior year in college). She fought so hard for 10 years and lived the fullest life one could live.

Thank you for your support!

Much love, Jamie
