I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child?

In this 7th year of organizing Lowcountry Bald, I am dedicating my fundraising to the kids who have helped us shave heads and share the message of hope: the conviction that research will find the cures for childhood cancers and give kids a lifetime. Thank you Conor M., Addie C., Sean K., Freddie T., and William K. for the inspiration that you have given me.

At Lowcountry Bald, some folks will shave their heads – and others like me - already bald - will put our hearts and energy into building an event that supports life-saving research for childhood cancers.

During the pandemic, donations have been down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants.

I want to make sure kids know we care. I want more research to save lives. Please support me with a donation. Thank you!
