I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Yup, I'm shaving my head in honor of a very special person. See the picture of that kid on the right? Marenna C? That's my little sister. Little sisters are supposed to be pesky, getting into your stuff and bugging you. But Marenna was too busy fighting for her life. When she was still a baby, just 7 months old, Mom and Dad found out she had Wilms' Tumor, a kind of kidney cancer. After surgery and chemo, the cancer was gone. But then right before her third birthday, it was back. She was still cute and funny -- click on the video above to see her and me at that time -- but she lost her hair, and was in the hospital a lot. She's been off-treatment for about a year and a half now. We're hoping that the cancer is gone for good. She's kind of pesky now. And I like that just fine.
