I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lindsay

I have been growing my hair out to donate to Locks of Love since I was in my early teens. Every 3-4 years I would cut all my hair off and send it in to help children who would be bald otherwise. One of my coworkers and his wife participated in St. Baldrick's a couple years ago, and I thought... never in a million years could I shave my head. Sure, I'll cut it short, but bald? I just wouldn't know what to do... Then I thought, but the kids don't have a choice. I can shave off my hair. Scary! And maybe, just maybe, help a family in need. Someday there will be a parent who hears that their child has cancer. BUT thanks to research supported by the St. Baldrick's foundation, they also might hear that there are treatment options... specifically for their child. All because I shaved my hair off and you donated a few dollars.
