I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Tuesday

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Tuesday

This is Emmitt & Vinnie - teaming up again to support Team Tuesday and their efforts to cure kids cancer. We really appreciate everyone's generosity in years past, and we are reaching out to see if you might consider donating with us again. Now that we are proud Knights of the Bald table, we’re taking our participation to the next level this year and volunteering directly for the event as well as raising pledges to shave. We’ll be runners for the organizers, and helping keep track of all the little kids who are new to St. Baldrick’s. Come visit us at the bouncy house!

We hope we are helping to raise awareness about how kid’s cancer research is underfunded. At the shaving event, all of the teams have someone get up and talk about why they are there. It is really touching and sad to hear all the different families’ stories about their sufferings with kid’s cancer. It feels good knowing we’re there trying to do something to help. We shave with Team Tuesday (our elementary school friend lost his little sister named Tuesday when she was 2, and we love supporting their family.) Team Tuesday is one of the highest raising teams ever, and the funds raised so far this year put us across an amazing benchmark – over a half million dollars!! We think it’s amazing that these people we know can come together to accomplish that. We are excited to see how much we can raise this year! This link has an awesome little video about the Whitt family:

We support the cause, and want to help all of the other shavees on Team Tuesday. We hope you’ll help us reach our goal so we can raise awareness and make progress in kids' cancer studies.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
