I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Spider Monkey

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Spider Monkey

I have been a supporter of this cause for years through my friend, Mike Tucker and his St. Baldrick’s fundraising team, “Team Spider Monkey”, who have raised over $360,000 since 2008. This year, I’m not just donating - I’m joining the team and shaving my head in solidarity with the kids who often lose their hair in their fight against childhood cancer.

So why shave MY head this year? Because now it’s personal. In December, my friend and co-worker lost his 15-year-old daughter Maggie after a three-year battle with clear cell sarcoma. With teen sons of my own, this hit close to home and I felt like I needed to do something. I can’t cure it, but I can help fund research through St. Baldrick’s. I’m excited to join in the fight by shaving my head and am humbled to be able to do so in honor of Maggie Brown.

Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020. Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease, and I don't want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
