I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: School of Science, Health and Criminal Justice

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: School of Science, Health and Criminal Justice

It's been years since I let me hair grow out, but I was willing to do it to embarrass my 13 year old daughter Elyse.
When the  SUNY Canton Criminal Justice students made an announcement about this event during our school meeting, the bids for me to shave the fro started flying from my fellow faculty members. It got me thinking that at least my daughter was here to embarrass. Some Dads aren't that lucky, losing their kids to cancer before they are teenagers.
I've never had people bid money for me to get a haircut before or shaved my head, but its a small price to pay in the search for cures. Let's see how much money we can make.
Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded and the researchers could use your help! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
